WORKSHOPS

In this workshop, you'll learn the fundamentals of weaving round reed baskets by starting with a small cylindrical basket (approx. 4" in diameter at the base and 4” tall) using the following basic techniques: open base; simple weave (over/under); slewing, and a basic trac border. Choose from 4 color options to personalize your basket. The workshop runs for approximately 4 hours and is limited to a maximum of 6 students so that everyone receives individual attention.  All materials and tools provided. What a great space to explore a new creative outlet in an intimate setting on the water.  This workshop serves as a prerequisite for future, higher level weaving programs, providing anyone interested in continuing to learn the art of weaving a way to get there.
